Varg Vikernes, the infamous black metal figure known for the murder of Euronymous and the alleged arson of three churches in Norway, has been found guilty in a French court for allegedly inciting racial hatred and glorifying war crimes via blog posts. Vikernes, whom has been living in the country for the past four years, was arrested last July for racist, xenophobic, and anti-Semitic posts on the Internet, which is currently illegal in France. During the trial, which took place last month, Vikernes proclaimed he was innocent of the crimes and claimed that the blog in question was the work of impersonators. The court has given Vikernes a six-month suspended prison term and a fine of €8,000, which is roughly $10,000. Vikernes nor his lawyer was not present in the court for the verdict and has yet to release a statement about said verdict.
The tour will run from Sep. 12th to Oct. 2nd with support from Counterparts and Expire.
Tickets will be on sale this Friday.

Eddie is replacing ex-bassist Matt Watcher, whom left the band in June to focus on his family. The announcement came via frontman Tom DeLonge's Instagram account with the photo above, with the following caption:
"We welcome Ed Breckinridge to the gang- Formerly of the post-hardcore band #Thrice, he is a perfect fit for this group of punk rock Gymnasts. A daily surfer, and skateboarder .... And shredder from Orange County, we look forward to his moves on stage.#NowWeHave2Ponytails"
The band is currently in the studio at work on their next LP, which currently slated to be released this Halloween.
Few bands in the scene have been as long lasting and prolific as Buffalo, NY's famous sons, Every Time I Die. For almost sixteen years, the band has steadily evolved and refined their chaotic hardcore sound to a precise point over the course of six records and a laundry list of ex-band members. Now we have arrived at their seventh effort, From Part Unknown, and it is crystal clear the band has perfected their sonic attack with this record.
During their set at the Montreal, Quebec stop of the Vans Warped Tour, Parker Cannon and Will Levy of The Story So Far, along with Alan Day from Four Year Strong, got into an altercation with the venue's security. As the video shows, a security guard got violent with a crowd surfer, throwing the person to the ground. This lead Parker to leap off stage and confront the guard in question, leading into a full on altercation between the band members and security. Thankfully, this did not last long and the band then finished their set. Kevin Lyman has commented about the incident saying, "I have a video that we will send to the local security company, it will be dealt wth." There has be no word yet on if the band will receive any ramifications because of the incident.
